Low Light CQB Course

This past weekend, I had the awesome opportunity to take part in the Low Light CQB course run by JBG at the Epsom Tunnels, and honestly, I’m still buzzing from it!

First things first: massive shout out to the team at JBG for putting on such a solid and well-structured course. The whole day was packed with action, learning, and a great balance between training and realistic scenario-based elements. If you’re into airsoft or tactical training, this is exactly the kind of experience that helps level up your game.

Given how scorching the weather has been lately, training underground in the tunnels was a blessing. The cool, dark environment not only made the low light aspect more authentic but also provided a huge relief from the heat outside.

What really stood out to me was the attention to detail in the training. From proper movement techniques to communication and working in low visibility, there was always something to learn or improve on. Then we transitioned into the scenario-based sections, which were an absolute blast. It put all the earlier training into context and forced us to think, adapt, and move as a team.

Another massive highlight? The people. I met a ton of fellow airsofters, many of whom I’d never crossed paths with before, and by the end of the course, it felt like we’d all been running together for ages. Great vibes, good laughs, and a shared passion for the game—what more can you ask for?

I had such a good time that I’ve already booked my next course with JBG. If you’re on the fence about doing one of these, don’t hesitate. Whether you’re new to CQB or just want to refine your skills in a unique setting, this course delivers.
